The jazz band performs a wide variety of music which includes swing, latin, pop, funk, bebop, and more! Open to all students by audition (grades 9-12). This band meets after school in the Spring only (there is no jazz band class). Audition materials for jazz band are posted in December. This group of musicians are led by the band directors to prepare pieces to be performed at various concert programs and community events. Many students in Jazz Band audition and are selected to MTSBOA Mid-State and All State Bands.
