Volunteering and Fair Share
Come have some fun and help the kids either during an onsite activity at the school or get an up close experience at a competition. We can use your help!
Fair Share is the way the band budget is fairly distributed among all band students, so that all of the bands financial obligations can be met.
Marching Band expenses are varied and include:
- transportation
- competition fees
- uniform costs
- equipment
- instructors
- music and more.
Concert bands also have expenses, including:
- music
- guest instructors
- workshops
- other expenses not paid for by the school district.
Students are encouraged to participate in the many fundraisers provided throughout the year to help meet the Fair Share obligation.
Participating in band fundraisers can allow you to fundraise 100 percent of your band fees, if you choose.
